1. Policy statement

Look Up Limited is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are committed to acting ethically, responsibly and transparently.

Modern slavery includes slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. We take a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery.

2. Our business and structure

Loo Up Limited is a UK-based consulting business. We operate primarily on a Founder + Associates model and do not employ permanent staff.

Our work is carried out by the founder and by independent associates and partners engaged on a contractual basis. While we do not operate a traditional employment structure, we are nonetheless committed to:

  • Fair and transparent remuneration

  • Responsible and ethical business practices

  • Compliance with all applicable UK employment, tax and labour laws

  • Respect for the rights, dignity and wellbeing of all individuals we work with

3. Our supply chains

Our supply chains are limited in scope and primarily consist of:

  • Independent consultants and associates

  • Professional service providers (such as legal, financial and accounting services)

  • Technology and digital service providers

We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low. However, we remain vigilant and committed to responsible sourcing and engagement.

4. Policies and practices

To support our commitment to preventing modern slavery, we:

  • Engage associates and suppliers on fair, transparent contractual terms

  • Seek to work with reputable individuals and organisations that share our values

  • Pay agreed fees promptly and in accordance with contractual terms

  • Expect all partners and suppliers to comply with applicable laws and regulations

  • Reserve the right to terminate relationships where unethical or unlawful practices are identified

5. Due diligence and risk assessment

Given the nature and scale of our business, we take a proportionate approach to due diligence. This includes:

  • Assessing risks when entering new supplier or associate relationships

  • Using reputable platforms and professional networks to engage associates

  • Reviewing relationships periodically to ensure ongoing compliance with our standards

Should any concerns relating to modern slavery arise, we will investigate them promptly and take appropriate action.

6. Responsibility and governance

Responsibility for this policy and for ensuring compliance rests with the Co-Founders of Look Up Limited.

This policy is reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect changes in our business or in relevant legislation.

7. Reporting concerns

We encourage anyone working with or for Look Up Limited to raise concerns about potential modern slavery or unethical practices.
