This process gave us very specific and tangible outputs. It wasn’t just a positioning piece of storytelling, it delivered clear next steps for us to action.

Challenge

The Brixton Finishing School is a not-for-profit enterprise, designed to bring talent from under-represented communities into the marketing and advertising industry, and to help them to thrive. In response to the growing challenge of NEET individuals, and increasing barriers to inclusion, BFS decided to launch a Foundation. This created some potential for confusion in their story.

Solution

We ran a rapid Story Sprint to review the positioning of the overall business, and to clarify the role of the Foundation, and its narrative. This included expanding the team’s perspective on the potential audiences in play, robust examination of their motivations, and the development of clear messaging and activation ideas that would bring the new Foundation story to life.

Impact

This project provided key reframe moments for the team, enabling them to make decisions around key areas as audience focus, brand architecture, and potential new paths to revenue. It also resulted in immediately actionable ideas and recommendations that enabled the team to move at speed and improve their ability to secure new partners.
