Ozone is a digital advertising business with a difference, designed by publishers to deliver a high-quality adverting experience for brands that transparently and sustainably rewards professional, premium content. As the business grew its technology sophistication and international footprint, it was time to refresh their story and take it to market in a different way.
Solution
We ran a Selling Story sprint, in partnership with the Ozone leadership team, to challenge, refine and express their core story. This led to a shift to positioning themselves as an Audience Connection Platform, creating a crucial Connection Advantage for advertisers. We then trained both advertiser-facing and publisher-facing teams in how to bring this new narrative to life to drive growth.
Impact
The Ozone team have embraced the new story, which has helped them to move the story upstream. The business is consistently outperforming revenue benchmarks in their category, and has recently executed a successful launch into the US. Ozone is establishing itself as a new player in a market of platforms – one that prioritises the art of audience connection.
